ALL ABOARD ~ SUGAR CREEK HOLLOW CHALLENGE
Good Morning !
This is the first time I have ever entered a challenge twice, but I came across this photo last night and wanted to scrap it as I had just been to Craftqueen to pick something up and of course came away with some new goodies that suited the photo as well and the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow
This is a photo of my Grandfather in his Model T Ford and the lady on the right is my Aunt.
Sadly my Grandfather died not long before I was born, I feel sad I never got to know him, but if he was like my Dad he would have been a beautiful man. Luckily my Grandmother was a big part of our lives and I loved her to bits. The lady on the right is my Aunt Phylis who also was a big part of my life , a lovely lady with a wicked smile.
All Aboard Chippy is from Scrapmatts ( they make the most beautiful chipboard )
The Prima Life, hand ,clock and key chippy , gold sequins, satin seam binding and cream braid are all from Craftqueen.
I had stamped an old piece of calico ages ago and stitched around this to place under my photo . (things always come in handy eventually )
Little flower braid from my Mum's treasures. Good stuff stamp from my friend Lizzy , thank you Lizzy I love this stamp .
The cute little metal hot air balloon is from The Trinket Track .
I really enjoyed doing this layout. Even though I never knew my Grandfather , I have had a strong feeling to the past lately, and I guess I know deep down in my heart these are the things that really matter, that when you are feeling a little down , that even though family members may no longer be here , these are the people that love you , and unexplainable for those family members such as your grandparents that you have never met , you love them with every fibre of your being. Gosh getting a little deep here. Now I have tears in my eyes , I had better get my backside up and ready for work.
Thank you for calling by.
Love and Peace

STITCHING ~ LESSOLOGY CHALLENGE
Good Evening,
I have never thought of myself as much of a card maker, but I have been making some cards lately and getting to like it more.
This card is for the challenge at Lessology where the challenge is sew lovely. So anything to do with sewing~ scissors, buttons, stitching etc . I like stitching and quite often use it on my layouts.
I have made this card for my newly acquired Pen Pal in the UK, so I hope she likes it
I originally did not have the little bird from The Trinket Track on the card, but came across it in my stash and thought I would give it a home.
I have stitched around the outside and then added lots of messy threat under the satin seam binding bow with some muslin and a button from my Mum's button tin. My up cycle items are the button and muslin.
Thanks for popping by and......

WINTER BEAUTY ~ SHOW US YOUR STUFF
Good Afternoon!
So good to be Friday afternoon and home from work :) . Today I wanted to share a layout that was prompted by the challenge at Show Us Your Stuff . I love that these challenge sites inspire me to do a layout that I probably would not have done other wise. But when I saw the prompt it made me think of a photo I took last week when it snowed. Here is the challenge.....
and my take on the challenge

Winter Beauty
I was not so lucky to have to work on a snowy day, but was lucky to see a rainbow on the way to work. I took a couple of photos. This one is the rainbow at the end of the apple orchard at work.
I have used the negative of the chevron chippy and snowflake chippies from Scrapmatts. I gessoed them and then sprinkled glitter over the top. Braid circles and pearls from Craftqueen. Silver netting from Marally Craft and coat hanger ribbon that was my mums (she was a mad coat hanger maker) I thought it was nice and soft and added to a wintry feel. The silver cord was also from Mum's treasure tin.
I stamped around the outside with a Kaiser stamp painted with 3D stamp paint, then I added glitter to this as well. Now this is where I created a huge mess. I don't know how the ladies that do the video tutorials with embossing powders and the like , stay so clean and organised. My scrapbooking room now looks like a fairyland, I have glitter EVERYWHERE ! Oh well it is pretty at least.
The lovely pearl spray is from The Trinket Track
The gorgeous flair , silver washi and silver sequins are from StudioFourteen40
Thank you for calling by . Wishing you all a wonderful weekend
I will leave you with the other photo I took that morning

Footnote : When my husband got home from work he asked me why I had glitter all over me. I didn't realize I have it on my face and neck. Yep it's everywhere !

CLASSIC VINTAGE ~ SUGAR CREEK HOLLOW #91
Hello !
I came across this challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow via Cathi on her blog Celtic Knots. Being quite fond of vintage as most of you know and loving the Card that Cathi made, I thought I would like to enter the challenge.
The theme is On the Road and they would like to see shabby chic or vintage inspired layouts.
I have some fabulous photo's of my husbands family and wanted to scrap this beauty
How cool is the old car and the Pram ! My husband is the one in front with the tie on, pulling a silly face. His Mum is standing behind him and his sister is standing next to her, his baby brother is in the Pram. Also in the photo, looking very cool in the sunnies is My husbands Dad's Sister and her two boys.

ONLY HAPPY MEMORIES HERE ~ SCRAPPY CANARY MOOD BOARD CYBER CROP CHALLENGE
Hello on this freezing day here. I can't believe I completed all the challenges for the Cyber Crop at Scrappy Canary ! This one was to gain inspiration from the beautiful mood board
So Pretty. I decided to use the inspiration from the colours and the Bed spread.
So Pretty. I decided to use the inspiration from the colours and the Bed spread.
Only Happy Memories here
It was very late when I took the photo, but with our weather, I don't think it makes much difference to wait . I have use the satin seam binding from Craftqueen as inspiration from the Bed Spread. The butterfly is from Scrapmatts and I have coloured it with metallic rub on from memory ( I did it awhile ago) Texture paste, through masks, mists and stamping. I used a glasine bag under my photo also.
The little flowers are Prima. I sure would love to be at Patmos now. Away from negativity and this cold weather. Patmos is defiantly good for the soul.
The gold mist is a Heidi Swapp and lovely and shimmery IRL as is the mint green.
Thank you for calling by, and if you would like to join in some or all of the cyber crop challenges you have until the 20th July

I WILL BURY MY SOUL IN A SCRAPBOOK ~ SCRAPPY CANARY CYBER CROP AND SCRAP AFRICA CHALLENGE
As you know I have participating in the Cyber Crop at Scrappy Canary, they have some fabulous challenges to get the creative juices flowing and you have till the 20th July to submit your entries if you would like to join in
I am combining this one for two challenges in the cyber crop as well as the Challenge over at ScrapAfrica
The Cyber crop Challenge is...... A Tic Tac Toe
and .....
This is my take on both the challenges
I also loved the challenge at Scrap Africa, so used the Mood Board as my Colour Scheme
the DT over there have some amazing inspiration, you should go and have a look see and be inspired.
I have used Lyrics from a Leonard Cohen song, because yes that will be me with my soul buried in a scrapbook. The Chevron stamp is a gift from Lizzy and I have also added a Kaiser Music notes stamp to signify the song.
Beautiful Flair from StudioFourteen40, my favourite range ~Dali.
Some old pink thread of my Mum's. Flowers from CraftQueen as I am pretty sure the ribbon is as well. The PP is "Nature Walk" from 7Dots Studio. I have added water colour paints for the colour scheme.
For the Tic Tac Toe I have use the middle line straight down. Use an unusual element ~ I have used the negatives from Chipboard words from Scrapmatts under my photo, Ribbon or twine, two or more photo's. I really liked the chipboard negatives and am happy with the result.
Thank you for calling by and hope you can join in the challenges at Scrappy Canary and Scrap Africa
Love and Peace

ANOTHER FREAKING SCRAPPY CHALLENGE ~ MY BOY JOE
Hello,
Is it just me or are the months just flying by ?
I was sitting in my scrap room last night and suddenly it dawned on me that the next day was the 15th and a new challenge would be starting for AFSC. Yikes ! Luckily I had the day off work today and got my layout done and in just in the nick of time.
I kept my layout simple and pretty much to the sketch, which is
This is my eldest child Joseph who is now 34 ! Just a gorgeous little boy. I am really enjoying scrapping old photo's of my children at the moment, as it makes me realize they did have a pretty good childhood , ( well I hope they think they did )
The lovely Super Star Flair is from StudioFourteen40 Boys will Be Boys range Honestly the flairs are superb quality and there is one for every sentiment, you should pop over and have a look and get yourself some.
I have also use the Bow and Arrow range of PP which I am loving.
Really hope you can find some time to join us this month.
Love and Peace

PERFECT JUST THE WAY YOU ARE ~ SCRAPPY CANARY CYBER CROP CHALLENGE
Hello I am back with another challenge from the Scrappy Canary Cyber Crop.
This challenge is to scrap outside your comfort zone.
I have scrapped layers and scraped gesso over the top a few times, this time I wanted to add paints as well. I have to say I thought I was going to bin it, which I have only done once before. But I kept going and as I keep telling my class ~ there are no mistakes in scrapbooking ( I have to practice what I preach). I don't think it ended up being to bad. Next time though I will structure my layers more instead of just random tearing and layering.
My gorgeous girl when she was just a little bubba.
I have used the "Bow and Arrow" range from Kaiser. Prima Flowers and Satin Seam Binding & Washi Tape from Craftqueen. The Heart is from Lizzy . Lizzy had it on the envelope of a card she made me, so I recycled it. Lots of my Mum's old thread.
Thank you for visiting.
We would also love to see some entries in AFSC challenge. Document something you have been rewarded for . Anne comes up with some fantastic challenges that gets you scrapping photo's you may not have scrapped otherwise, but are important in the story of your life, so come on over and join us at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge.
Love and Peace

Hello, I am back with the colour challenge for the Cyber Crop at Scrappy Canary this weekend. If you would like to join in , you have a week to complete the challenges.
The colour palette is .....
It reminded me of Fiji, but I have made a few books with my Fiji photo's so decided to go with a photo from our time on Patmos Island Greece with some very beautiful people.
The saying the Best things in life are Free and are not things is so true. I so enjoyed these moments of just relaxing and talking and being with these lovely people so much. Treasured memories for sure.
I have "doubled flaired" with StudioFourteen40 gorgeous flairs
The Good Stuff stamp is a gift from Lizzy

SWEET
Hello !
Today I would like to share two layouts . Firstly my layout for my lovely class that I teach.
Today I would like to share two layouts . Firstly my layout for my lovely class that I teach.
Sweet
This is my husband and my sister in law. I think we all know who the sweet one is ;)
He tells me he didn't want to get his photo taken, I think it shows. But how cute is my Sister in law
Also this weekend I am participating in the Scrappy Canary Cyber Crop
The first challenge is a sketch
I thought this would be perfect for a 8 x 11 1/2 layout. I have a couple of albums to fill, but hardly scrap in this size
My children were fortunate to enjoy holidays at the Farm at Crookwell with their country cousins. They got to enjoy such things as riding horses, rides on the tractor and farm bikes. Baby lambs, rabbits, lots of dogs ( always seemed to be another batch of puppies) watching the shearing and just running around in the paddocks.
I have used the StudioFourteen40 flair from Boys will be Boys range and StudioFourteen40 Vellum File tab
Thank you for calling by. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

MY HAPPY GIRL ~ SKETCHY BOARD CHALLENGE
Good Afternoon . It is lovely to have the day off work today, but gee the day goes fast.
I would like to share a layout I have done for the challenge at Sketchy Board Challenge.
It is a really lovely colour palette. So soft and pretty
and then the sketch
and this is my take

My Happy Girl
The gorgeous flair is StudioFourteen40 from the "Every Day Range"
Satin Seam binding and flowers from Craftqueen
I have used the Kaiser doily stencil from Marally Craft and I painted and dripped blue water colour paint and gelato over in places. I have added stamping, sequins, washi and thread.
Isn't she a cutie. I realized whilst looking through my DD's baby album to pick some photo's what a happy little baby she was. In nearly all her photo's she has a big smile, as a Mum that makes me very happy.
Thanks so much for calling by.
Love and Peace
