SCRAP AFRICA ~ RETRO CHALLENGE

Hello all,

I thought I would like to join in at Scrap Africa with the retro challenge.  I often make retro tags for my Penfriends and add a recipe  or teabag on the back of them .

ONE PERFECT DAY ~ HOME AND SCRAPPED MOODBOARD CHALLENGE AND SKETCHABILITIES SKETCH

Hello !

Well we are back from our big trip and feeling like this.....

.

Must be old age, we certainly recovered a lot quicker in 2008

We had a amazing trip, saw lots. It was a fierce pace for the 5 weeks.

So today I also finally got a new computer ( well a reconditioned one ) as my old one has gone to computer heaven. So I have a lot of blog catching up to do ! visiting and being inspired by all you creative people out there.

The other day this photo was given to my daughter in law of her and my sweet Grandson. I LOVE it and knew I had to scrap it.

I used the mood board at Home and Scrapped. Home and scrapped is a lovely, friendly community on Face book.

I used the silver and gold inspiration in the bottom right hand corner. Instead of feathers I used the trailing flowers.

One Perfect Day

I had the good fortune to meet Wilma when we were in Switzerland. I could see Wilma's house from our Motel ! So one afternoon I spent a lovely few hours with her. I would like to thank Wilma for the gorgeous flowers

Lots of little bits and pieces . Scrapmatts  "A perfect Day" Chippie. Little hearts are StudioFourteen40 and I have used a silver marker to colour them. Little square pearls from Craftqueen. Some music washi tape , some stamping .

OUR LITTLE STAR ~ CHALLENGE AT ARTastic

Hello,

The new challenge over ARTastic is a beauty and I recommend you pop over and see what the DT has created to inspire you.
I have scheduled this post , so hopefully it has been good and posted when it should.

The Challenge  ~ Sara Beetson "The return of the Young Prince . Criteria  ~ Stars

What came to mind when I saw this gorgeous work was my Grand Daughter , she is a born entertainer and our star.
I found some photo's of her putting on a little concert for us.

Our Little Star

The Stars are Imaginarim Designs which I embossed and then I used the negative as a mask and added some stars with gesso.
Some Paint circles and the chippy crown on our sweet grand daughter is Prima
Amelia was rocking the stage
